I wonder how much difference is left between a stylish alloy pitch stop and the group N, which looks near identical to stock.

Did the group N engine mounts, pitch stopper and transmission at the same time.
Didn't really notice any increase in NVH, however with the air con on and being stationary you will pick up more vibrations through the steering column. Should be able to modify the ecu to bump up the revs when the air con is on to fix that.

Agree. The NVH is not as bad as I thought it may be. The main times that I notice it is when using the clutch to move off. It makes the clutch feel slightly like a puck clutch as you feel slightly increased vibration.
But then again.... The rest of my car is full of NVH due to other mods. |

Never really got bothered about NVH ratings with engine mounts and suspension bushes. Especially when you have a decent exhaust then you NVH is already compromised. Plus once you are up to speed they generally die off.

I was initially going to install the Cusco mounts but people talked me out of them. I don't think that they would ha e been that bad at the end of the day.

I have spherical metal joints at every part of the suspension. Every engine, gbox, and diff mount has been upped. Every crossmember has been replaced. I have upped every bush in the outrigger, shifter and steering rack etc. I even have solid metal bushings between my gearbox C/M pieces. And i have every chassis brace you can get. Plus a rattly CF twin plate, mono flexs and cusco rear LSD.
Cars NVH is truly atrocious. It clunks like nothing else. Every bump is felt. Every mechanical operation is felt. Just using the starter motor rattles the whole cabin. It has all kinds of weird harmonics when driving. The tyres skip when turning tight. Clutch disengaged and the metal rattly sound makes people cringe. And i cant even turn the stereo up to cover it because i ripped it out to save weight. But i wouldnt change it for the world. What im saying is, toughen up ya pussies, dont be afraid of a little NVH. Have a cup of concrete and harden the F up. And do the same for your cars. If your afraid of a little NVH, go buy a Prius.

Does replacing all these bushes really make a difference?
Maybe in the future when they're perish I'll endeavour to replace them but they are still doing ok for now keen for 2 way rear diff tho

That is what truly bugs me about cars now-a-days, they are too sedated, smooth, composed, etc. ECU re-tunes, sports suspension, big wheels / tyres, exhausts are just the beginnings of a host of corrective measures to reduce comfort in the pursuit of driving pleasure. My brothers FG Turbo Ute has every bush in the rear (diff, control arm, etc), most of the fronts and gearbox mounts replaced with polyurethane replacement items. The NVH is increase noticeable (mainly diff / gearbox noise) but the pay off is the car feels solid under power. I know it clearly isn't a WRX, just my recent experience.
