Any evidence to support that claim ? Tomei is quite good brand never seen them copy another brand or rebrand not to mention thier stuff is decently priced. I've seen companys rebrand their products.

I'd love to know otherwise.

Kando headers are used by Tomei and rebranded and some of their camshaft range is rebranded JUN.

The evidence is 'SSI' stamped on both headers, in the same location.

They all come from the same factory, SSI Exhaust Industrial in Taiwan.

in my engines built by Justin, he has used sti, gates and other non descript belts, but never cheap rubbish, we stay clear of cosworth cause of cost (most times they are rebadged items at higher price for the name., we use piston CP or wisco and rods like argo and pauter, they seem to stay together, on refresh 400plus kw build we always use a new belt.

No I just make unsubstantiated wild claims on the internet

Can get the exact details but from memory their rods for RB26/RB28 are Carrillo or made by Carrillo or similar, not to say Tomei don’t do finishing works to the parts once received but are made by a 3rd party.

Greddy range of intercoolers, they have 3 “levels” of cooler available the lower 2 are made in china.

Went through it all when choosing parts for my build.

Tomei actually have the Tomei "O" stamped on the headers and "Tomei" stamped on the up pipe like below, however they are indeed made by SSI as you would have seen me mention on many occasion since I've dealt with the factory myself.

In saying that these parts are made by 3rd party’s I am sure they go through more stringent QA checks then the standard china parts being sold over eBay.

Wasn't trying to imply that but some people do, it is the internet after all. though this thread has definitely useful in learning more about these brands.

There's no need for that.

If you go back over posts, a view could be had that for advice given from the local and regular experienced Perth folk, you do appear to discredit them by offering conflicting story/opinion/information followed by some story about your previous 30 engine builds "in the UK".

I would suggest to ease up on doing that.
