Exclamation MY06 STI Turbo upgrade

G'day everyone,

Just after some suggestions on a new turbo.
I don't won't a huge turbo with massive top end and lag to match and no driveability.
Having said that I would still like at least 200kw atw.
Also does the intercooler have to be changed as well.

Thanks

Les

consider the AVO400s.

on the 2.5 it would be great and could keep the top mount however It would go better with a FMIC

Just make sure u do the FMIC right first time. Ie very short pipework... go to extra expense now rather than getting some bolt on fit FMIC that has 5 km of pipework and gives shitloads of lag. u wont be happy with it and just wanna shorten pipework later anyway . Look at the PACE FMIC form UK for ideas about how they SHOULD be done. ... not like the crap HKS/BLITZ/APS/HYPERFLOW method of pipemania.

FP20G or AVO400L depending on how much cash you got.
Have you done any other mods yet?
You might be pleasantly surprised at what an exhaust, intake and retune can do.
