ditto, i'd be steering clear of ecutek purely because of their marketing tactics and limited ability to swap tuner's after the event.

it depends on what the fault is, you may find it could already have a modified ecu and have those flag's turned off on the warnings.

might sound sill but since im a nebie, what's a verso tune? i assume it's done on the factory ecu, what does it include? and do u do it once a TBE has been installed or will you gain benefits on a stock car?

There could be an underlying issue with the exhaust you put on.
I ran my MY02 STi with a TBE (MMS) and CAI and no other mods on the standard computer for about 18 months which included some competition work and I never had any issues. So whilst a retune or whole new computer would certainly help, you SHOULD be able to put a (quality) TBE and CAI on and have no issues.... Last edited by nauli; 18-10-2006 at 09:55 AM. |
