Default Flatouts or Super Lows?

Just after some advice people,

I want to lower my lift kitted, tractor of a MY05 STi. I have been asking two very well known suspension shops as to which spring I should buy, and the recommendations thus far have been Whitline Flatouts (drop the car 40-50mm), or SuperLow Kings (drop the car 50-60mm). I have considered the STi pink springs but for the price I'd rather save my cash for coilovers, as I've heard they don't actually change the ride height all that much...

My only concern is will the Superlows be too low (scrubbing etc), and ruin the shock at a rapid rate? Additionally, which is the superior spring? I've heard good things about both brands of spring....

I would love to get a set of Group4s, however I don't have the funds for them as yet

The car is used for the occasional MC day and Wanneroo Test and Tune days...

Any ideas?

I'd wait and save the money for the Coilovers - such as Group 4s. The Springs will only help the looks of the car and not help handling much at all, and also damage the shocks.

I shouldnt think you'll have any dramas with scrubbing tyres with Kings Super Lows... Especially if you still have factory rims... That said... Coilovers will always be a better option although a little more costly... that said... you can get cheaper coilovers if your not too fussy!!

I would think u would have guard rubbing if you put the super lows on, the whiteline flatouts are low enough! My tyres rub every now and then and I have flatouts fitted

AS I think other post have eluded to, you have nice and not the cheapest car out there make sure you treat it right and don't cut corners. A lot will depend on driving style on how the lowering will affect the car's handling. On the track it wont do much without support mods. But for street only use, eh, it'll look the goods at least. But I come from a more track heritage for my liking.

I know of one MY05 STI with coilovers and is experiencing rubbing in high-speed cornering and that's with the extra camber and castor the coilovers can offer.
