Nails at standard level
Default Knocking sound at 3000 rpm whilst driving and at rest!!

Happy new year guys,

Arrived back in perth in the early hours of sunday morning after a 6 week holiday overseas.
I had the MY2000 wrx garaged with the battery disconnected. Connected the battery this morning. Checked all fluid levels. Oil levels
Topped up everything that needed it.
Fired her up.No worries started first time.Brought it up to temperature without any rev of the engine. No worries. Idled quite good in fact for such a long time of being stopped

Out from the garage for a bit of a drive and heard quite a loud knocking noise at around 3000 rpm and it did not matter what speed I was travelling at, through every gear. Holding it at 3000 rpm it was there but as you excellerate it would disappear.

I came back to the house and parked in the driveway popped the hood and manually increased the rpms on the throttle body and still the same at 3000 rpm it would start to knock again.

Any help with this one guys would be great.Cheers.
