The 2 more over east probably got ordered several days ago for other customers,
but have only just arrived in the country. Much to your dismay they have been
pre-ordered by others.

I have seen this sort of problem before. Order 5 spares and by the time they
arrive you actually need 7.

I had my power steering pump and sunroof mechanism repaired under new car warranty at City Subaru . I also had to wait 4 weeks for the parts and also 'to get the repairs approved(?)' because the parts were expensive.
In the end it was all done with no hassles and I'm happy with the results.

Thought ive give you guys an update......and no i dont have my car back yet!!! They did manage to get another pump from over east which they put in yesterday but no luck with that one either! So that was 2 brand new pumps that they have put in and neither had worked, so i called them today and he tells me that they decided to try a used pump from a car off the yard and guess what.... ....IT WORKS!!!!!!!! So they have no idea what has happened there but now im going to get a recon pump! Screw new the dont work plus it will be cheaper! So what do you guys think bout it???

They have also given me a car!

I'd say they keep ordering the wrong variation of the pump, I'm in earthmoving equipment supply, service etc and it's vary rare that you would get two dodgey BRAND NEW items like that.

My 2 cents

PS - Amen to them giving you a loan car, that's the least they could do
