Yup highway mode ftw.

Highway is the highest sensitivity.
City the worst.
Autoscan tries to work out if you are in the city or highway, so takes a bit longer to warn you than highway mode.

Sure enough 2 minutes later i cam across the police shooting lasers (pew pew)
+1, ive had HEAPS of warning from the ole Lidar before, it can bounce around quite a bit!

Does anyone have an old Bel 990i they want to loan / swap?
I'm looking to borrow one for a week to shoot some videos.
Will lend something newer.

Sorry to bring up a new thread - Saves starting another.

I was passing a trailer mounted speed board today with an Escort X50..

After 5 attempts each at driving past it with the detector mounted vertically and horizontally, the horizontal mount seemed to pick up the signal ~50m earlier than the vertical mount. Same height/location on the windscreen.

Any explinations/ideas?
