might be a turbo.

which would warrant the lengthened swing arm and the big fat cunt tyres.

how ever i believe the busa's are better at keeping the front down compared to say r1's.

looks rank.

correct...my old r1 used to lift off at 3k RPM in the 1st when taking off...11k redline...low 10s 1/4s, i'd have to spend big bucks for my rex to be that quick

Nice bike but not my cup of tea, much rather a bike that handles. Busa's handle magnificently at 180km+ as they are a bit longer and have a lower centre of gravity than the shorter, lighter 1000's. Short really twisty stuff there a bit more of a handfull but can still hold there own.

At the drags you can strap down the front forks in a compressed possition so that as soon as you lift the frount wheel you have its entire weight to help keep the frount down instead of the suspension travel in initially taking up the weight.

I have never riden a bike with an extended swing arm but people I know who have them on only use them at the drags as the handling is out the window once you put one on.

I love drag bikes....take away the gaudy paint, whack on a coat of BASF satin matte black, and it would be perfect
