I am waiting for the day that GT5 comes out before I buy mine. I have 2 mates in exactly the same boat. We all bought our PS2 when GT3 was launched. Was tempted to buy it when Colin Mcrae dirt comes out next month but I hardly use it so I will wait.

Also does anyone know when GT5 is coming out? I looked on the website and I cant find anything and the list they have runs until the end of this year.

Was also tempted to buy an XBOX because the reports on Forza 2 are awesome.

I'm waiting for that also, but I may lunge earlier when some other quality games come out like heavenly sword, COD modern warfare, Sega rally etc.

I believe GT5 is penciled in for q1 2008

ps3 = bombed.....love the damn thing but the lack of games is very upsetting...no good driving sims or anything until gt5 comes out....

agreed, i have barley played mine coz there is no games i want, got 2 games but have finished em so kinda bored of em, bro bought 3 others but they aint my type of games, im waiting for some more of the ea sports range, gta 4, GT5, Colin mcrae dirt etc.. anyway playstation > xbox.

totally agree that ea needs to start releasing some games! fifa!!! transformers was a little bit too short but then again i never have time to play it...

Reports coming from those chosen few who have had a chance to demo GT5 (industry people overseas), Forza is shitting all over it for dynamics. Graphics may be slightly better in GT5 thanks to Blue-Ray, but the game play is poo. A lot more cars in GT5 of course, but remember that most of the cars in the previous GT games have just been different versions of the same car (eg Normal Civic, Mugen Civic, Civic Type etc) most of which you wont ever bother driving, thus boasting 900+ cars compared to Forzas 300 odd of quality cars that you will drive.

Personally couldnt be happier with Forza2 and my Xbox 360. Will wait to play GT5, but i highly doubt it'll make me wanna buy a PS3.

Agree - Bought a PS3 yesterday, bloody awesome. i was going to hang off until Pro Evo Soccer 7 came out later in the year but got it as an early fathers day present.
