Default Coffee Machines

I don't think this topic has been discussed. What is the best type/brand to get. Looking at one for work and also home. Need something easy to use and clean?

Other one to talk to is 'luckyphil'. He is right into it and went through all the ins and outs.

Having said that, a coffee machine is only as good as the beans you put in it.

What are you looking for...quality or convenience?

Convenience - super-automatic machine
Quality - A decent manual machine and burr grinder.

Also, how much are you wanting to spend?

I won't say any more until thats all answered

What sort of "coffee machine" are you after?

Espresso
Perculator
Dripolator
etc...

How many coffees are you wanting to make at once? How many people in your office drink coffee? The queue in the morning for a decent espresso machine would be nuts... an espresso shot takes 30secs to pour, then add noobs trying to "froth" their milk etc... hence many offices opting for the dripolator/filter method, which keeps litres of brewed coffee hot. Unless of course, This machine is for your personal use only.

If it's a "personal use" espresso machine your after, then yes, go for something like:

Lavazza
Saeco
De Longi
