I use Five Senses Velvet blend....Velvet Espresso is near my work and I've struck up a good relationship with the guys there, their blend is custom designed and blended fresh by Five Senses every week. Amazing stuff

I like Gino's too, but I've never tried their beans at home. I find they are hit and miss though, sometimes you get a good one and on occasion you get some gimp making it and it ends up being crap. Consistency is the key to good coffee

Excellent machine but for the same money you can get an Isomac La Mondiale, which I'd take any day over that.

I was sorta weighing up the best of both worlds, Servicing costs included, and over all price of the machine outright although the Isomac is a sweet machine $2800 for its over the top when you can pick up the Promac for 2k and still have money left over for a genuine commercial grade machine too with a bigger and more powerful system, just slightly lesser build quality but a better full electronic system. My 2c

Agreed - Hard to find good coffee in Perth, excellent coffee doesn't exist. The coffee beans have blessed our grinder for the past 8 years, and have not disappointed even once.

Amen to consistency. Spend your time getting the grind right - That makes 80% of a good coffee, as you would know

Five Senses Velvet blend is alright nothing to brag about but honestly generally coffee in Perth and most of Australia is shit.

The best coffee i have tryed was a Fazenda Santa Ines Minas Gerais, which is Brazillian

The long mac thats currently sitting on my desk, made in front of me by Johnny Nease in Velvet's 25g Synesso triple basket with a naked portafilter, means that I beg to differ.

For the money, tell me a coffee that will better it?

By the time Brazilian or Italian coffee is roasted and sent out here, it goes stale....so unless you have it in the country of origin, its nothing more than one big epic fail.

Good coffee in Perth:

Velvet Espresso
Epic Espresso
Tiger Tiger
77's
Gino's

Everything else I've had is pretty much rubbish
