i was going through their australian agent but after they lost my treviso (lucky i didn't pay for it) i have been going direct!
my lx is on its way via very very very slow boat from the old country! i have just serviced (rebuilt) my old sr50 grinders, one i will retain at the shop for decaf, the other i will pair with the lx for home duties! |

Those Treviso LX's look nice, and the specs are ball park for a high end small bar machine.. same sort of spec as my Duetto II, but with a HX instead of a dual boiler.. You could easily run that at your shop as a secondary machine and it wouldn't even crack a sweat.
The HX vs dual boiler debate runs strong in many coffee geeks, but I'm firmly planted in the dual boiler camp personally. |

im with you, especially for commercial machines, seperate boilers are the way to go! its amazing the demand on steam can suck so much pressure for the groups let alone continual extraction. my old verona could not keep up, it was actually embarrasing. it was an entry level commercial machine but it just couldn't keep up and to know that businesses still run with them . now the roma with seperate boilers for each group and full temperature control, wow, just wow.
the little lx with its 3D5 maestro deluxe group head (the same as my roma) is fine for home use and what i want out of it and the pricing i get, under 2 grand delivered to my door its a steal! |

got a call from a roaster friend of mine that he had a customer pull out of a la marzocco gs3 paddle with clear sides. rrp is 7200 but happy to see it go for much less than that. its half-way through its 18+ week italian odyssey. let me know if anyone's interested and ill pass it on.

Nope . . . no coffee fixation there Ramon
This is our fully automatic machine (world's smallest house - no room for a Ramon setup). Took a while to get set up but now produces an great espresso every time (as long as I don't change bean type).
