very true! , its not like they have to purchase the fuel on the day that they will be supplying they would have purchase that fuel days if not weeks ago.

i understand that they are a business and they dont just supply us fuel for the fun of it but there should be a limmit on how much they can jack there prices up to.

i thought there is now a person who has been chosen by the rudd government to watch massive price rises??

Yeah, they're doing an "investigation" into the price of fuel.

In other words, pay "one of the boys" an insane sum of money to come up with a report saying that there is nothing untoward happening with the fuel industry.

Front what i understand, all 98 octane fuel in WA shell,caltex and obviously BP, are actually all BP ultimate anyhow... So Alot of the time Caltex and BP alternate prices one being cheaper one week and the other the next etc. So even though its still pricey maybe it can help take the edge off the price hike ?

i have been avoiding non BP 98ron as i have been told that its not as good , like other p-wrxers have used it and said it gave them probs?!?
