Interesting Idea, you have my attention. You have the tools etc to do this at home or do you plane to do this at work also?

Cops still had me for breakfast...
LOL. I ran no front plate for a while in the wrx (even the first possum cruise and a couple of other cruises) and over almost 2 months i was stopped once.

9 times out of 10 i reckon you could escape a fine. Wouldnt be the same if you get caught with some dodgy lcd screen as your plate tho!

chances are the only cops seeing your front plate missing are coming the other way and it would require a lot of effort on their part to turn around

I ran without a plate for 3 months and wasn't pulled over once.

Forget the LCD. Try this...

1. Mount trasmitter on the front of your car at the same frequency as the Multanova.
2. Hook it up to you detector to switch it on.
3. Turn power to MAX and watch the sensitive receiver in the Multanova fry.
4. Get $10,000 fine for illegal high powered tranmitter under communications act !

Heard an engineering student did this (don't think it was in oz). Cops could not
initially work out why speed camera's kept dying every time his mini drove past
