Buying the mrs a car
Looking at the focus, astra, tiida, and corolla as a short list atm...hoping to grab one that is 1 - 4 years old. (ie $14 - 19k)
any others i should consider in that ball park? any major reasons to stay away from anything? |

Was discussing the same thing with my wife today.
We were thinking of a Golf but $$$ (and servicing costs) have put an end to that idea. Swift or Swift Sports is topping our list now.

yeah i was thinking of the swift till a mate who would know said they handled like shit. i guess i should drive it myself.
also isnt the swift... more in competition with the polo and fiesta and barina rather than the next level up (all the cars i mentioned?) Last edited by werticusness; 29-04-2008 at 01:24 AM. |

If you want to stretch to 20k, my Mrs might sell her 2004 Mazda3 SP23.
60k km, lowered, swaybars, strut braces, cat back exhaust, urethane engine mounts, etc etc. |
