I have to weigh up purchase price against what I'm getting - a VS GTS is 30-40k cheaper than a GTS Coupe, but 30-40k is a lot of mola to throw at the VS GTS to build a nice blown donk, awesome stereo etc etc.. but the GTS Coupe is a much more complete and modern kit to start with.

Hence my queries to you all

we have a VS senator 215i (have had it from new) as a family car. GC8 wrx for fun times, pulsar for trips to uni and cryuser for fishing trips and work.
just be aware that getting some OE parts for the VS is becomming impossible as they are no longer being made. Aftermarket is the only option, given that someone makes the part.
great cars the VS HSV's, tough motor, box and heaps of fun (comfy too) on long roads. Senator will sit at 110km/h at 1500rpm in sixth.

Sweet Toni, Not many 215i VS Senators around!! I hear what you say about the VS and its age. post up some pics if you have them!

After much thought and purusing the web I'm leaning towards the GTS Coupe in yellow (or maybe black). The house wont be ready for awhile so it gives me time to find the right example!!
