Hey All,

I'm currently in the process of building my new house, which has three garages

I'm keen on getting a weekend muscle car cruiser for the third spot, I do want to take the car down south every now and then so it has to be fairly comfy and reliable.

Currently looking at several options, what do people think, any other suggestions??


Current list in no order is;

HSV 01 VX GTS
04 CV8 Monaro
F6 Typhoon
HSV GTO Coupe
HSV GTS Coupe
HSV 97 VS GTS

I reckon too much money

Of that list I'd pick GTS Coupe or F6 (no XR8 / GT-P ?)

VS is too old these days, why get a GTO instead of a GTS (same for regular Monaro) and IMO the Coupe looks better than the sedan (VX GTS).

Depending on the final use, I prefer the look of the XR8/GT-P (bonnet buldge ftw)... but the performance of the F6 speaks for itself.

None of those are muscle cars - more refined family cars with big motors.

Or if it has to be new, GTS, slammed, 5 grade tint, cams et al. Tough!

if u were gonna get a muscle car, i'd look at a proper oldschool Fairlane 500 or HK Monaro or someting like that. Of that list there tho, the new F6 would be my choice
