i heard something about maybe scrapping the GST on fuel, to try save some $$! Doubt it will ever happen...

Jaron, crued oil has reached a record high, so i guess, passing the buck onto the consumer.. awesome! Gonna be an expensive Albany trip this time around!

Yeah the excise GST on GST (no that is not a typo, they have GST on GST, fuckn politicians)
GST on fuel is around 39c at the moment, the GST on the excise is 3.8c so you will be saving 3.8c a litre.

Also here is the blow. The fucked up Rudd government will not even be doing an inquiry until late next year so we will be paying $4 a litre by then. Sell your cars, buy a horse, I heard Hay is cheap.

I love working from home, lots and lots of people probably don't really need to go anywhere with a home computer, and if your working in Perth the train is awesome

lots of people running around with DIY electric cars also, cost about 200 bucks a year to run :P

The Rudd govt does not care about the price of fuel, even though it was one of their election promises to put downward pressure on fuel prices. They've pretty much washed their hands of it saying there is nothing that can be done.

The only downward pressure the govt is putting on, is Wayne Swan's cupping pressure on Kevin Rudd's nut sack.

like some one said, its not just the $$ to fill up a tank that goes up. i sell oil plus alot of plastic products ( mud guards, water tanks etc etc ) and ALL are going up/have gone up alot due to oil being used in the production.

it's no just fuel that's affected.

ps: doesn't matter what the price of fuel is i refuse to sell any of my cars.

ppss: i feel sorry for the diesel drivers out there, i know it's more economical but @ about 183c p/l it'd want to be
