Why not a rolls royce jet engine? It would probably be easier to fit this than a 13b

maybe I should start a new thread:

"Engine swapping, help required"

I have an old Pratt & Whitney JT8D in the shed, can anyone tell me how to get it into my wifes Lancer? Anyone tried this before?

Can we close this thread now

And it sure as hell wouldnt require a rebuild every 5000 kms, use massive amounts of fuel and sound like a vibrator working overtime

lancers are quite light, maybe put a suzuki hayabusa 1.4 litre engine in it. 14,000 rpm in a lancer would raise a few eyebrows.

I could be wrong here but theres usually a button u can push or a knob u can turn inside the car that says "volume". Use that to 'dampen' the exhaust 'note'.
