If you can get a mid arvo meal in fruit or protein shake, that'll help you stop getting hungry in the evening.

At the end of the day it's calories in vs out.

Eat 3000 calories of protein and only burn 2000 you're going to get fat so don't be scared of carbs because we've been eating them since we were swinging in the trees.
Just be more aware of when you eat them.

Cycling is a good calorie burner. In the metro area most of us live within 3-5 km of just about every kind of shop, so when you need something from Bunnings, BigW, Woolies or whatever just take the pushbike instead of hopping in the car.

I keep a spare mountain bike with a basket on the front and a couple of panniers on the rear, and I can get a weeks' load of food shopping for a family of four on the thing.

I just checked my card receipts and I filled my car less than once a month over the last six-eight months. The last two times were Dec 19 and Jan 28 - for everything else, there's cycling ;-)

Had the flu for the last 3 days, couldn't eat a thing. Lost 2Kg by doing nothing and didn't take a shit the whole time. Hurt like fuck, thought i was going to die a few times and sweated it out.

Doesn't sound very healthy, but thems results.

Back to gym next week.

similar experience on my bali trip I just got back from, got incredibly sick while i was away and lost 4.6 kgs in one day, ass pissing about 15 times a day, blocked both the toilets and then filled the bath with black vomit. Ate a few pieces of fruit in a 48 hour period and finally sweated whatever it was out. Finally feeling ok again (about a week later) Just started a new weights routine and hockey pre season is in full swing so i'm doing a bullshit amount of cardio as well.

Since I've been back I've been trying to do the 6 (good) meals a day thing, I've never been so hungry in my life! The Hydroxycut probably has something to do with that too but my metabolism is screaming along. Downside being thermogenics aren't fun to take in summer, especially seeing as i already hate the heat and my body doesn't deal with it well.

pretty much all the calories in beer or vodka are from the alcohol though? not many carbs, but yer vodka be better then beer lol.

Im starting my Weight-Loss program tonight. Im thinking if theres anybody else out there that wants to set a target with me for weight loss, put it up in the next day or so. We can do the whole group-checking motivation thingo.

My program is Gym 4 nights a week, doing 30mins cardio and then some weights. Swapping one meal out for a Nutrient Shake, and taking Omega3 and AntiOxidant supplements. I am using the USANA Brand.

I currently weigh 98kg, and am 175cm tall.

My target is 85kg by July.

I will post up some calculations on calories later today.

Way way better measuring your stomach, if you are doing cardio and weights you muscle can off set the actual weight you are loosing, so measure your stomach a much better way to find out if you are loosing weight and getting fitter
