has anyone linked their phone to microsoft exchange?

ive done it for my work emails and calender. but is there a way to turn it off so it will only download new emails when i click into it?

looks like its just downloading as it pleases.

im also not sure if its downloading through wi-fi. wi-fi is turned on and its connected to a network, but i cant see any icons to show its connected via wi-fi.

might have to look at the manual when i get home


and one other thing, has anyone found an app that can change the message tone to a custom one?

u dont need an app, you can do it using

1. your fave mp3
2. itunes.


look for a guide, id find it but gotta run.

Go into settings, fetch new data and turn push off and use fetch only.

WiFi has an icon in the top header like any other wiFi symbol

Well it looks like my sony ericcison X1 is not coming out anytime soon (note the end of next yr) and my current phone has been dieing for the last 6 months..

So all good comments about the iphone???

Do all the extra non-official applications make it a standout??

No special applications for me and no major gripes. Battery life can be a bit sad but I generally have it on charge all day at work while listening to tunes.

Best plan would be Optus I would say.

Not really that many non-official apps out yet, but given what the old firmware was like, it will be good.

Just wish someone would hurry up and release an upadated MMS app for 2.0.
