Hey all,

Does anyone have a full functioning PDF editing program that i can use. I am entering a competition and wish to fill in the form that they have sent me.

If you "maybe" scans torrents you "could" find it.

Adobe Acrobat is not a PDF editor, it's a viewer.

The nature of PDF documents is so that you *can't* edit them.. Yes programs exist to edit them but PDF's exist because they can't be modified.. that's kind of the point, instead of supplying a .doc or other file which can be easily changed.

If the entry form is designed to be filled in as a PDF then they would have the fields set up so it can be entered in a Acrobat (full version)... however to assume everyone has access to full version of Acrobat is a bit foolish. I dont know if Reader can do it as I have never actually used the pleb version

If the docment needs to be "edited" then they dont want you using it in that manner.

An alternative is to insert the file in a Word doc or similar and then type over the areas...can then either create a new PDF (file size may be large if Word creates bitmap image of PDF) or print only the new fields and then merge the documents into one PDF.
