I'm in the market for a second car...bush bashing 4wd. Wanna spend max $15k and it has to be diesel. Since I'm not gonna care about the paint/scratches etc. what do i go for??

I want opinions of people who actually took a 4wd into the bush...don't need to hear "my mates friend has this wicked..." and yes i know WRX is an AWD

if my STi sells, im buying a 100 series Landy or a Prado, or a Hilux. Basically, i have decided, if you want a bulletproof 4wd, toyota is the way to go..
