Keep driving towards the Czech border and the porn gets dirtier, cross into Czech and the servo's have brothels next to them. Now that is a one stop shop!

100 octane = good
ethylene = good
ethylene absorbs water = possibly good
But how much? Is it constant?
different energy density, mass, etc .. means you need to tune specifically for it.
But if the fuel you buy from one week to another is not constant in all relevant qualities,
tune has to be very conservative so possibly negating any advantage. ...
Not an issue for the average 6 cyl taxi but it could be crucial for performance vehicles.

Just askin.

definitely better on fuel consumption. noticed through the weeks so far everytime when needle is a quarter down i get at least 10 more km. best i have got on v power is close to 550. i think i will get 570 on 100 ron if i let it run close to empty

I think most of us are aware that there can be issues running Ethanol fuels in olders cars, but does anyone know whether the P100 has enough Ethanol in it to matter?

I have a Gen1 Liberty with a JDM Ecu, which runs rich and is tuned for 100RON fuels. I want to use the P100 if possible, and basically want to know if the % of Ethanol is actually going to eat things in my fuel system? We all know we can't just go and run E85, but what about P100?

Not sure what everyone else is getting for fuel consumption but mine has increased but due to the fact I been hitting boost to make bum dyno happy , it feels fast imo tho I get bulk wheel spin in the rain doesn't help.

P100 is only 10% ethanol
in regards to E85 I have mates in their R32 shitters who run E85 only and they didnt even change the fuel lines just injectors/pumps and tune, been going strong for few years now

Thanks Rexxar. I'm thinking 10% ethanol won't make much difference. I read somewhere that Subaru think it's fine for cars post 1990, except a handul of their more highly tuned cars (Sti as an example). I don't have any real concerns re: performance and longevitiy of engine, but more of the fuel delivery components.

Mine is loving it and bum dyno feels stronger but I'm only half way through my first tank so far, fortunately I have the JDM computer which is tuned for 100ron............. The idle was a bit lumpy for the first 100ish kl but smooth as after the computer re-learned what to do. I'd give it a thumbs up so far.
