Hehe, yeah mate, the golf ball with the bashed in door and faded paint and what looks like aids, it's pretty disgusting but the scum of the earth leave it alone and I never need to wash it.

Though I did buy a dent puller from the States and that got rid of the majority of the hail damage reducing the divets down to little dings and I did buy two good doors and a guard but......meh

Just filled up after my first tank of 100ron which was maybe 10L 98r & 50L 100r, bloody good stuff, economy would be up by an easy 9-10% and power feels much better, certainly worth the extra few cents per litre.

I'd recommend it to anyone running a JDM motor with the standard computer, will see what happens next Wed at the drags with the better fuel and a decent set of iridium plugs instead of the $3 cheapies that are in it now and have been in it for the last couple of years.......if they arrive from fleabay in time.
Serbaru likes this.

So as E85 starts to flow in Perth,

What is the standard set of things to buy to do a conversion? I am keen to look at doing this now it is becoming somewhat real.

Injectors? What size - Based on a STi TMIC/VF34/Intake/TBE etc type configuration? 20psi. Do i need to drop the boost based on different fuel?
Fuel Pump?
Fuel Filter?
EGT Sensors etc?
Certain hoses an fuel lines need to be replaced?
Does it play alright with exhaust cats?
Retune - ASG.

Cheers

A flexi fuel sensor would be a good idea so you know actual content and it can tell ecu (not sure on stock ecu ) of ethanol content and adjust tune to suit ....

There is a new united opening on gnangara rd.
can only hope it has E85 too!!

Fun fact: buying united's E85 is produced in Queensland, so you're actually supporting oz by buying it :-)
