Hey Bud - I'm running it in my STI - Ya ya not stock I know but I haven't had to touch the tune at all swapping between 98 & P100.

I could possibly squeeze another degree of two of timing into it on P100 though.....

I occasionally swap between the two fuels bp98/p100 in a stock tuned 2010sti with no issues. Car was tuned for 98.

Cheers.

I still have no explanation for this: I get more kms running on P100 than BP98 and the car feels better on P100 also. I have absolutely no idea how or why that works because I'd expect the opposite (for amount of kms).
Driving in the same way for both fuels too, still more kms out of P100. Unbelievable.

^ am i missing something here or i thought that the p100 was suppose to get you more km's than 98? Being a higher octance shouldnt you expect it to run better?

Mine's still running fine, feels better but it's a stock V3 JDM STI computer so it's designed for 100ron - so it ran on 100 in Japan for about 9yrs then 98 here without a problem for about 7 yrs then back to 100 all without a hiccup.

P100 is "98RON + ethanol"

The ethanol has less stored energy, or something similar in technical terms, and fuel economy could be/should be worse than straight 98.
