Worst review ever.

All he said for the entire review was "the understeer"....hows the rest of the car you fuckin knob?

Did you see how he was driving it?? Flat out into a corner, then wrenching the steering wheel in whichever direction he wanted to turn. No wonder it ploughed through each one with understeer!! Wheres the proper braking to increase front end grip, and smooth steering? Of course there was none, he has no f*cking idea.

Every week I watch it, and every week I realise how sh*t the show is. It's not getting any better IMHO.

Last night's show was shocking. (Espescially if you watch the UK Top Gear straight after to check how bad out version is)

STi review = Fail
GTR review = Epic Fail

The amount of sarcastic comments on 'yeah right its faster than a Porsche' and not really acknowledging how good the car is till the very end was pretty piss poor.

And when will a reviewer learn that peak power is not the be all and end all of a car and how fast it is?

Oh wait, they get to do some more skids in some Commodores and Falcons next week. Let me guess 'nothing beats a V8 for that off the line power'.

We need to write in and get them to look at these and other car forums. Then maybe they'll see what REAL car lovers are thinking of the show. IE: crap/below average at best.
Sure, they have had some very respectable cars on the show, but if you don't review it and drive it properly then what is the point?

Our only hope is that they'd filmed a whole heap of episodes ages ago (eg up to this point) and since it has started going to air they've listened to the feedback people have given and are changing future episodes.

Though saying that, having driven an ECUTek'd MY08 STI with standard suspension in this year's Dutton, you really need to turn the DCCD back (to about 1or 2) and switch off VDC and TC to make it turn properly...generally on auto etc diff it is more understeery than a standard MY06/7. Though with VDC and TC on with the diff on about 3 it works pretty well on a wet track.

We did manage some reasonable stage times (including 1 fastest) and a reasonable time a the Gloucester Park autokhana, so they can be made to handle pretty well in standard form by pushing the right buttons....oh and we beat the other MY08 STI which had coilovers and bars

sorry for that hopefully they do read the car forums & realise how much everyone hates the show then axe it and start airing the real top gear, i'd rather watch re-runs of old uk top gear with the fat car salesman on it, tall call i know but thats how much i dislike this show luckily i have every uk episode on dvd
