Ring the tentants advisory service
http://www.taswa.org/ or start paying only 80% of the rent until they fix it or send them a breach of contract notice or move you could tell them its not even putting out any hot water anymore, by turning it off all day and then turning it back on just before the plumber arrives lol

Bit of fine tuning to get a balance of heat to pressure ratio, and bob's your uncle.

I can vouch for John, I've had many showers with him and never had a problem.

These little instantaneous gas hot water heaters work only if:
1. they are less than about 10m from your hot water outlet, 2. you have a standard outlet, cannot use a water saver shower head, 3. the pipes are not too restrictive, no narrow plastic flexible shower pipes. 4. They are properly serviced about once a year. Otherwise they give poor and varying heat and the heater can turn off at random. That info cost me about 5 visits from different plumbers before I replaced the one I had. As ‘Kato’ says you can try the temp control lever, on the cheaper types moving it to colder gives a higher but cooler flow. You could be lucky and this may work. The bad news, blowing up a gas heater can be bad for your tenancy agreement, and the position of your head on your shoulders. The good news – ‘summer is acommin in’. |

I have had a similar problem. It was found out that there were some small rubber seals behind the taps which were fucked.
You should check that out - However, as you have bad pressure through the entire house, and not just one or two areas, it may be something worse. How old is the system? Have you tried turning off all your water outlets, and then go look at your meter to see if there is water leak somewhere?
