So driving with headlights on is not legal? I never turn mine off, becuase when I turn the car off they turn off so they are always on :P, never saw it as a bad thing.

Geez Dan, didn't know that one!!! Are you sure? How many out there would be aware of this? One might argue that it's illegal to drive during the hours of darkness with main headlights off, despite the situation with fog & foggies

Also didn't know it was illegal to have fog lights on, until i went through a booze bus. I think the cop saw how young I was being on P plates and prob realised I wasn't aware of it and politely told me so and then said "nice car too by the way". He was really good about it.

On the topic of respect for the police, it has decreased big time over the years... its terrible. But it all changes when people need their assistance...

I got fined having fog lights on in 2001/02. So it's been illegal for awhile. Most of the men cops are nice but the women cops are damn nasty..

I got pulled over by the TRG the other night and was told in the officers words that I drive like a 'cunt'. I agreed and moved on.

Moral of the story is agree, be friendly and save yourself time and money, after all they are the law whether you like their attitude or not.

$100 should pay for another roll of film for a speed camera.
