Fucking Trevs and their Australian flags hanging from the roof of their car.

Like foxy said, you should be proud to be an Aussie every day of the year, not just on the 26th.

Rant over!

TopGear 22-01-2009 07:34 PM

Cooper89 22-01-2009 07:34 PM

Im flying japanese flags on monday...

GOOSE 22-01-2009 11:57 PM

I am saying there should be no flags. You can be patriotic without being a knob.
Between similar shifts, yes. Between night and day I'm sure you need 24hrs by law.
Yep, by law you are only allowed to do 12hrs work in a single 24 hr period.
and a maximum of 14 days. I just did 14 days straight and instead of getting a day of had to do a shift change. 24hrs is technically is a day off but still sucks balls... ahhh five nights to go.

My pet hate related to above... - Giving 3 months advance notice for a week of annual leave, and getting rejected.

Having to spend this whole week teaching the supervisors how to do their job.

haha time to sue lol
my record shift was 18hrs long :S, then the next below that... 16hrs

now to contribute to thread:
pet hate = kids who have nothing better to do that graffiti stuff, damage stuff, or steal things.
its funny how businesses have to replace more windows, cover up graffiti etc during school holidays....

Which 'law' is all of this from? Or are you refering to your specific contract?

mattmy99 23-01-2009 08:38 AM

If it is the law, there must be a loop hole somewhere (in regards to the maximum of 14 days).
I work 28 days on, 12 hrs a day, then 9 days off, and have done for 3 years.
