yup, i think you're required to have an instructor with you at least the frist time you go out, they decide when you're allowed to go out by yourself. but that said, if you want one you can always grab one and ask them to jump in the car. my personal preferance would be what Kato suggested, go to AHG and do some lower speed stuff in your car. driving quick on the street is nothing compared to how hard you will push on even a single skidpan. you want to know what your car is going to do on the limit, you'll hit 200+ down the back straight at wanneroo

Cheers for the helpful info fellas.
I think the best thing for me to do is call AHG and have a go at a few of their programs and then join no limits car club and get some circuit practice before i compete in dutton.
