I'm pretty stoked!!
I'm currently in Melbourne and have just had 3 days of intensive finals competition for Chrysler,Jeep & Dodge Parts Specialist of the Year 2008.
(My brain Aches!!) I qualified after placing inside the top 5 in the 3 qualifying exams spread over the last 12 months. I'm stoked because, out of 64 national dealers, I have just placed 3rd nationally. I finished 3rd behind 2 other competitors who have both worked for CJD dealers in excess of 8 years each. Why am I so happy? I only have 18 months of CJD franchise experience at this point..... Finishing inside the national top 15 felt good, finishing the last qualifier inside the top 5 was better. Finishing on the podium in 3rd is awesome!! WIN=WIN (Time for a pay rise!)

CJD error resolution (catalogue errors) Blind quoting (i.e no vin -which sucks!) Order logistics Stock control Cost control/pricing Chassis systems- (suspension/Brakes) diagnosis Engine systems - diagnosis Driveline - diagnosis Recall/Tsb resolution Electronic application/accessory retrofitment We use any of up to 5 different resources to resolve problems put to us. Asked to solve uncommon problems, find uncatalogued parts etc. It's pretty full on.
