Back in the day when I got my license over 10 years ago I brought a EA Fairmont Ghia that was written off and repaired it with my father. We put in a blueprinted XR6 motor with cams and all the fruit and the only reason for selling it was to backpack overseas.
It used to do the 1/4 in 13.8 which was pretty quick back then. I still miss that car... it was totally indestructible! Still remember having about 10 people jammed in it to see if the air-ride suspension would still auto-level! It did it! I also have owned a 1967 Mustang which is for sale again from the bloke who I sold it to over 7 years ago! The best thing about that car was when I was in cruises you could pick up chicks on the sidewalk since the car was left hand drive!! http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars...d=118DB7F869E2

I like the 2 door AU. That coupe shape completely changes the look of the car...Ford Aus could have been in a very different position today if they had pushed a performance coupe like that.
