i think the reason this thread was created was to suggest some guidelines to be put down to ensure pwrx doesnt get abused. most other forums require a certain amount of posts etc b4 you can post in a for sale section etc

No, but if I were selling a pair of new & unused cosworth heads that you were interested in, wouldn't you want to see a reciept from my initial purchase?

Same/same for a $400 bottle of champers.

I asked him a simple question that he baulked at "Do you have a reciept?".

It is an intersting one...

I was on a jury once for a dude getting done for "receiving stolen goods".
They look at all sorts of things like how you got the goods, if a normal
person would suspect something, and if there were any 'flags' that should have
made you believe something was "not quite right". This case was over a stolen
TV and this dude stood to do jail time because he bought it under
circumstances that a normal person should have questioned, not just
said "who cares, its cheap".

Basically if "The Man" thinks it sus, then you can get a nasty
"receiving stolen goods" charge. Pleading ignorance = Judge laughs.

I say P-WRX should be paid for ads.

Use the money for Motorvation or Stace's running costs of the site.

I've sold a couple of cars here and a couple of other things, also given away an exhaust, BBQ and Table.

I'd be happy to pay for the privilage - just a suggestion as I know it would be hard to administer. But lock the for sale threads and forward your cash and ad and then a mod puts it up.
