I was about to mention something about stobies but someone beat me to it. They literally are just about indestructable, as per the many many crashes I've seen that involve them. I'm surprised it was down Magill though, it's more an Anzac Highway thing..

Not all is lost guys, It's not all bad news. It looks like you could still salvage the front mount off the skyline.

WTF? There were innocent bystanders killed in 1.82 police chase crashes last year?
Someone failed at maths.

Unfortunately that's one young driver who won't get a chance to learn from his mistakes.

There's a guy on rexnet who was just up the road when it happened. say's it was pretty gruesome to look at.

threads called 'worst day of my life' - pretty funny how sympathetic everyone is on there compared to here.

The drivers in this accident deserve absolutely not sympathy, they chose to drive so wrecklessly, at least as pointed out, the people in the cars involved in the racing are the only ones who got hurt.
Sympathy for the families though, not a nice thing to go through.

Pity people just never learn, doesnt matter how many times something like this happens, people still choose to act in this manner. and NO, I have never and will never lower myself to this kind of level of stupidity shown in this tragic accident. (before anyone makes a comment on it)

yet, this article will now be used as case study to ban hi-po vehicles rather than the idiots who dive them.
