Default rant on...

I wish to vent. Maybe we need a sticky thread for anyone wanting to just have a rant.

So I finally get my wrx back and have it for one week. Had to head to Perth today so popped into RMS to talk to Ken about a lil problem I'm having and he was great, very accomodating and helpful. Smiles as I leave.

Then get to the lights at the Leach and Tonkin intersection and some fucktard commo driver is too busy looking at an airplane in the sky (yes he admitted that) to notice that I have not started moving forward, even tho the traffic he sees in his periferals is, and hits my ass end. Not too much damage, infact the nice lil circle dent my zaust left on his front bumper was the worst of it, but crack in my bumper all the same and I'm not happy (you know what you men are like when ur wife tells you someone hit the car and I will have to hear that crap from my hubby tomorrow when he finds out). Then he tells me he has no insurance!!!

It was like a vz or something fairly new looking commo wtf why would you not have insurance grrrrrr! So I get assclowns rego number, phone number name etc and he has flat out addmitted to me and my mate that he fucked up.

Then I get to my hotel and check in etc. Mate wonders down the road to maccas for a bite and as I open the door to let him back in I smash my toe into the door. We all know how that hurts and I'm confident some of u cringed reading that..... now u will really cringe...... its ripped the toenail right off my toe omg the fucking pain!!!

Just really shitty and pissed off with doors and uninsured commo idiots and grrrrrrrr.

Rant over.

Really feel for you.

Since it is a really cut and dry one go through insurance regardless so he gets anal raped as a lesson.

Anyone without at least 3 party needs a reality check. Always seems to be the brain dead twits that don't pay attention that don't bother with insurance either.

File a police report and call your insurance company NOW!

Once this bloke realises he has to take responsibility for the accident and pay some money he will try and wriggle out, refuse to pay you or even try and make a claim for whiplash or some crap.

Protect yourself, involve your insurance. Its why you pay the premium every year.

Sorry to hear . Driving a VZ with no 3rd party? You gotta be kidding! The time has gotta come when 3rd party is compulsory IMO.

oldman: Don't know if things have changed but I was under the impression that fully comp insurance was mandatory by the lender under HP.

As for the toenail, you have my deepest sympathy. My missus went through the process of having a troublesome one removed by a specialist, pain was incredible. Made worse by the fact that it grew back again despite the fact that the doc was supposed to remove all the nail bed but failed, necessitating a 2nd procedure and the whole pain process all over again.

If the car is financed it will be in his finance agreement stating that it must be insured. Wonder what the finance company does to people who don't comply with this???
