I love my radar, its just a peace of mind to keep you in line if you happen to accidentally creep over the limit.

Mine is a Bel STI , however being on the window not very stealth anyway lol.

But at the same time I don't really feel like investing in a hidden type either just cant spend that money on it.

I'm Thinking group buy on the hidden radar before any laws happen and we can get special price..

surely the cost of radar detectors would fall, if they are going to be illegal, to clear stock??

TBH, I've had one for 2 years.. I used it for a while, then i went onto double or nothing, because I lost too many points, I think I was relying on it too much, so I stopped using it, haven't in over 16 months, and I haven't had a single fine.

Im up for that. Im on double or nothing :/

As much as I like the idea of frying them with an EMP cannon, I don't think the pulse would do much for the standard Subaru ECU (even worse for the MOTEC).

Maybe if such a device was fitted to an old mechanical injection diesel, then you'd have a radar hunter...
