Hmm, being over east when the radar detectors were band over there. The police had the power to search a vehicle that the suspected to have a radar detector, and by search I mean pull apart

does anyone know what date this will take effect?
and also (maybe eastern staters) what the likely fine would be if you get caught with a detector. if its only a couple hundred or something thats the cost of saving you from one speeding fine, could still be worth risking it.
