Burnouts schmurnouts... I'd rather go and cop bulk hugs at the Leedy on a Wednesday night than smoke rubber in some bucket of bolts sporting a twin plate and 100mm cooler. *epic nod*

if i turn up at this pad in my trenchcoat with my mate TJ in his dak dak , will i be alowed to give the kids lollies from my trenchcoat ? & if we snap two front cv's & do some rear wheel drive skids & i get exited, can i invite everyone back to my house for a party ? will they think differently of me if they see all kids in my lounge room? if so should we all go back to TJ's house instead & milk the cats ?

All you pingpingpings who are hating on the idea of this burnout pad need to open up your eyes and realise this is exactly what we need, you dumb pingpingpings!

My only disappointment is that me Sneep Sneep was crushed into a cube last year... not through hooning though, but because it kept popping motors. Ahh me dak dak, she's a weapon. Therefore I will not be partaking in any burnouts.

I like boobies

EDIT: wait, you need to go back to the bottom of the last page for that to work properly.

I've been thinking about this for years, reckon it would be an awsome idea. Then you think of the public liability, incidents, accidents, disclaimers. It'd be a shit fight but awsome if done. Again, "And that type of thing" is a VERY open to interpritation statement.

"Im sorry sir, i heard your car doing a burn out. I believe its too low"....cause that has everything to do with....nothing.

^^ FAIL (yeah i saw ur post before u deleted it colonel_wrx)

Sadly, I don't see this working. Its only a matter of time until the cops pull a motorvation 20 style stunt and set up out the front and start yellow stickering every car leaving the venue. Thus, turning everyone away, and it being a complete waste of money for the guy building the pad.

Until that happens, skids on i say!

Oh yeah great use of police time / tax payers money in supervising people that want to lark about in their cars.

I would give it 2 weeks until:

Someone gets hurt (probably rolling their car due to excess macca tray skidz)
A gate / fence gets put up to control access....which is then promptly vandalised and pulled down
The owners decide its too hard / expensive to maintain

they'll have bulk trouble with people smashing it up West Swan Rd, doing rolling drags n shit on their adrenaline-filled way back from the BP (Burnout Pad).

actually, a speed camera and/or hand-held should net some big money there... but not deter people from doing it

I'm sure plenty of you all know about Colllingrove Hillclimb north of Adelaide? Anyway, a few years ago they put in a skidpan for burnouts/1/8 mile/general commie wank (S.A. after all), and when it first went in, it was for people to burn some rubber without getting in trouble/letting loose with a bit of rage and all that. Didn't take long before people complained, and well, it's in the middle of nowhere so go figure, and then the gates were shut and only get opened up for specified events incorporating the hillclimb. And all of this chaos with the backing of the major motorsport club of SA, so unfortunately for this guy, I can't see it working.
