Some evo boys were there yesterday & were informed of the ban on "in car" vids - can't see the point of banning in-car but allowing spectators to film if they want protect their image from YouTube, web, etc.
Is this footage good or bad for their image & is it worse than in-car footage? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W0J-DHOIZFY

Yeah read about the incar footage crap on perth-evo.
Do love the guy in the commodore in the video above. Right arm in traditional freo lap position, doing skids. If RAC want to improve the image, having better driving online rather than people doing skids would be better. i.e. the guy with an incar camera is most likely going to be doing a good skillful lap rather than just burn up tyres.

The fact that the guys in the vid are wearing shorts, t shirts and no helmets should be of greater concern...

Just means you'll have to have a discreet pencil cam with a remote on off switch. They don't scrutinize the cars cant see them doing more than a cursory glance unless you make it really obvious.

I'm to lazy to do it myself so feel free to look away. Better odds of missing them in the other cars
