hey guys my computer has a virus of some sort and i cant gt rid of it, is there anyone that can help me get rid of it, i already have AVG

and I recommend Avast over AVG

Depending on how bad said virus is, the search function should still work as designed...

If avg tells you what sort of virus it is, if you google the name you might find a solution on how to manually remove it

Well i'm pretty sure that is a virus, because every time that i try to go to a new webpage a popup comes up asking if i want to surf unprotected and i have to click that yes i'm sure that i want to view that page

That sounds like Spyware to me and not a Virus.

sounds more like IE settings than a virus.

What does the popup say exactly ?
