Haha, I'll be giving these a go when I find a good butcher SOR. *if anyone knows one let me know! I've been driving all the way up to the Roleystone butcher for the last few years but it's a pain going all that way up the hill everytime I get a craving for some Pork. "No.. not the pork sword.."

Got some ribs on the go. Followed your rib rub recipe dave. Currently in fridge before slow cook.

What's the best way to get the membrane off the back of the ribs? That's always a bitch. What rib cut do you prefer, baby back or spare?

After a shitty rack at Tony Romas .. was there a few weeks ago and got a decent selection of pork and beef ribs. Went down really well. Having said that I was about 4 pints deep before consumption.

Still keen to get back to Squires Loft in Subiaco. Definitely more premium and $$, but a solid performer. Anyone downed a rack at the Merrywell?

Made a rack the other day, was just a rack from the butcher, with some rib rub and some sauce. Did a 3-4hr pre-cook on low heat in the oven, taking care of it every hour or so, then finish it off real quick on the BBQ.

Anyone been to Porkies yet?

I got a Kamado Joe a few months ago and next thing on my list is ribs, just want to get a rib rack for it. Where'd you get yours from Rich? Was there plenty of meat on them?

Anyone know a good butcher shop around the wembley/mt hawthorn area? I've been to Mondos and its good but also seems to be at a bit of a premium.
