I bought a new 200 series sahara diesel and it chews about 14l / 100 around town. Also it only has a 93 litre tank and the freaking range tells you you have 0kms left so you fill up and it only takes late 70's.

I have a Jan 08 production and there has just been an upgrade come through. If you are willing to go from 8 seats to 7 then you can have the long range tank back.

Have you driven a Q7 yet? The thing is massive and handles like a boat imho. Also there really is only one engine to get. Dont know if it has been released in Aus yet but it is faster around EVO magazines test track than a turbo cayenne. It is the 12cyl twin turbo oil burner.....

Yep drove the Q7, The 200 series is by far the better car but it's gonna be the missus' car and she does not want a bar of a 200 series, hence why I am trying to push a Prado now.

I found the Q7 to run out of puff at around 2500rpm and it did handle like a boat and the road noise was twice as much as a 200

When all else fails, get something that does a big burnout.

ive just put a deposit down on a 99 audi a4 1.8t quattro as a runabout.
it's got high mileage but drove absolutely perfectly. would like to take it to an audi garage (NOT the audi centre) to get it checked out

Pace Motors and Nazo Valuri were mentioned in this thread... anyone have experiences with either of those places?

cheers
