Default Patio Floor Poll

We have had our patio installed, but I am having trouble deciding what to do for the floor.
Keen to get some opinions.

I like the look of exposed aggregate and after getting some quotes it doesn't seem too badly priced. So its my prefered option at the moment. However I have a brother who is a carpenter and could help me save money on the labour of a deck.

The area is roughly 28m2.

Sleepy, concrete (exposed or otherwise) is easy maintenance, hassle free for the life of it, if done properly. No weeds coming thru, no sagging timber, no need to re-treat or re-stain, no chance of whiteants or any damage....

Altho timber looks schmick, I recon concrete is the way to go.

concrete/paved is easier to maintain and hassle free, but the timber decking does look awesome!

Well, I had expected to pay up to $5k
But looking like I can get it done in aggregate for almost half that.

if its only 28sqm i'd do timber - looks the bomb when maintained well!!

we're just about to redo our whole backyard flooring in 175sqm liquid limestone with a 20sqm deck area - we wanted half agg/half decking but with almost 200sqm its not a cheap option haha..
