Ive got Batu decking and wish I had just gone for Concrete. No maitenance would have been great for me.

Well I decided on the aggregate mainly because no maintenance is required.
A local guy did a cash job for me and I was very pleased with the results.

excellent choice mate timber always need to be re oiled and doesnt hold its nice look over the years.

Doesnt look very thick how deep is that ?

and has he put cuts down it so it doesnt crack ?

looks like there is a control join half way down and you dont need it to be more then just over 60mm so long as you dont plan on driving on it.

looks great! , how much did it cost you out of interest?

Yeah there is 1 join aswell as mesh to re-enforce. It cost $1900 fully layed and sealed.

how many sqm is that for???
im starting to think of using agg again for ours - might need to toughen up and just foot the extra coin for it over liquid limestone

Roughly 26sqm.
The aggregate alone cost about $1100, plus labour, mesh and sealant.
It could have done without the mesh but would have had more joins. I wanted it as clean as possible.
