Again I think this is an issue of incorrect terminology

Vehicle’s carry RADAR!

Coppers on the side of the road use LASER (LIDAR) or RADAR

Cameras on the side of the road are MULTINOVA's -> RADAR


RADAR -> K Band (with occasional leakage to Ka Band)
Multinova -> Ka Band
Laser -> Laser Alert

Also maybe reading this http://electronics.howstuffworks.com...-detector1.htm may educate you on the subject of lazer and radar.

Incase anyone else gets idea's, 904nm is the wavelengh required for detectors to go off.

if its not to maximise their speed camera revenue why not paint the cameras in something that makes it stand out or stop hiding them or put a sign before the camera so every one no's its there. i no it will never happen because its all revenue raising all polilys think $$$ instead of lives
