i know i dont look at the speedo that often since ive got the radar, ive also slowed down since ive got it for whatever reason.

i pretty much agree with balistc point of view , think theres far too many people running radars now and the govt aint getting $hit through their multanovas.

as for radar detector detectors they have proven very unsuccesful in the us. most recent radars are invisible to most RDD, and the new stealth ones are totally invisible even to the spectre iii rdd which is suppose to be the best.

As for bringing this in line with the rest of australia, well why did they wait so long ? didnt seem to be an issue before, until they realised how much lost revenue it was creating.

Great, what a waste of money that was. I hardly use mine, only for long highway drives, but now it's going to be useless.

Wow... 5 pages and counting...

If you dont speed, you dont need one either...
If your gonna drive just over the limit... run the gauntlet...
If you still wanna persist nailing it... ensure your seeing 20/20, and as Mat said... check your surroundings... constantly... or just watch for everyone else getting on the anchors... Know your hotposts etc... haha.

Brent.

Default Arg!!

I dont have a radar Dect and was going to get one.....until now! Oh well i just make sure that i flash my lights when i see the radar guns, Novas etc-really has been useful and find other drivers oblige and return the favour quite often.
I just see it as revenue generation-greed!! Didnt the government just annouce a Tax surplus?? Me, well i would like some back for all the hard work ive put into the WA economy and stop pining lawabiding drivers with "mint" vehicles, who have insurance, paid rego and clean licences.

It would still be a firearm under present laws. Even curios require a licence, and they specifically relate to rimfire, pinfire or centrefire types manufactured before 1900 and for which no ammunition is available!

BTW if ya complain to, or against Ms Roberts, don't link to this forum coz I don't think she's gonna like some of these posts somehow. Don't ask me how I reckon this, just a gut feeling.

That's what i do, heaps of tell tale signs that there's a camera/hand held up ahead. They're pretty sneaky though, yesterday along West Coast Hwy, they setup a camera literally in the bushes, i kid you not. This baby was almost covered in branches.
