Very interesting development. Once they annoucned the challenge, it really had to go through as uncontested or they would of been in the same trouble that the libs were with Turnbull.

I still think Rudd was a much stronger leader for our country. I doubt international leaders are going to like her much.

Looks like theyre going for the 'considerate female, with intelligent male ministers' theme.

Apparently Rudd was given the option to ease up on his policies or step down, so he stepped down. It will be interesting to see which policies they keep or how they change them.

Anything beats Abbott though. I wonder if there's any chance the libs will do the same thing and out Abbott?
