Yeah most of them are 2 directional, usually along the more major of the 2 roads. Some of them are only 1 way tho, just depends on the set up position. These came in to operation on Monday, and will start fining people left right and centre. So remember, watch your speed through intersections, especially ones where it drops from 80 to 70 or something.

I wonder if they are planning on putting them on both the Tonkin - Kewdale Rd & Tonkin - Leach Hwy intersections. They both drop to 80 from 100 and hardly anyone drops their speed when going thru on the green.

Yeah i would have thought these would have been the first places they would have put them, they'd clean up big-time!

Oh well, looks like it's time to permanently install a GPS device in the car and program all of these bastards in so it warns me a few k's before I approach the camera.

Do your radar detectors pick these cameras up? (I don't have a RD).

Radar detectors don't detect sensors built in to the road. You need a RD with GPS (or just run Trapster)

BTW I have a brand new Bel GX65 pre-loaded with Aussie database of fixed cameras if someone wants it...guy changed his mind after I ordered one for him. PM me

GPS doesn't detect didly squat. You need to program it with a warning to come up. Some GPS units allow this, others do not.

Jez, is there anyway I can program my 9500ix offline with the locations? Adding them manually sux the big one
